Easter Basket Ideas

After Valentine’s Day, I start to really get excited for Spring! I’m over the snow and cold and I’m ready for life to bloom all around me again. Planning Emma Claire (and Teddy’s 🐾) Easter Baskets is a perfect complement to my ready-for-spring mood (even with snow on the ground 😉).

This year, I’m focusing on a mix of needs/wants with less focus on fillers just to fill. My basket goals:

  • Books – Emma Claire is a book worm and LOVES to read more than just about anything. She is really into the Keepers of the Lost Cities series and has books 1-5…I’m planning on including books 6-8 in her basket.
  • Swimsuit – Kids outgrow their swimwear every year, so why not use this gift opportunity to put a swimsuit in that they will use and you will have to buy anyway?
  • Art sketchbook – Emma Claire loves to draw and fills them up fast…so many cute ones to choose from!
  • Jewelry – Emma Claire has a lot of bracelets and necklaces, but jewelry is the first section she gravitates towards when shopping.
  • Sunglasses – I just bought Emma Claire these sunglasses for Disney, but I know they will get misplaced before summer gets here. I’m going to get a cheapie pair to stick in her basket as a back up.
  • Lemon Grace Co Stationery – this is pretty much a staple gift for every holiday…updating her personalized stationery collection is fun and practical. Shop Lemon Grace Co on Amazon or Etsy

Other Ideas

  • Stuffies – We LOVE and use warmies! This one is Emma Claire’s favorite and so adorable!
  • Devotionals – here is one that we used when Emma Claire was younger.
  • Bath Toys – light-ups are so fun!
  • New box of crayons – I love this because it takes me back to my childhood…is there anything better than a new box of 64 crayons with a sharpener?!
  • Playdoh – like the crayons, these are nostalgic for me and we were always ready for a fresh set.
  • Coloring Books – I actually have this one in my cart because we still love to color to relax in the evenings from time to time. Here is another one in my cart.
  • Games – These are great for restaurant waits and down time while out.
  • Sidewalk Chalk – These have great colors and are non-toxic.
  • Butterfly Kit – We had so much fun the year I included this in her basket…fun AND educational.

I hope that gives you some inspiration! What do you like to include in your basket, mama? Help us out and leave a suggestion in the comments ☺️
