Once again, a house we loved was listed while we were on vacation and was under contract by the time we got back, but it was contingent and still accepting back up offers, so I toured it. Ironically, it was in the same subdivision as our original inspo home. It was so sweet and charming and already had a barn (something we have talked a lot about building on our property).
Pros
- Really close to Emma Claire’s school
- Equestrian property
- Master on main level
- Lots of garden potential
Cons
- Already under contract
- Not in our hometown
- Master bath was really tight with no bathtub
- No pantry (but potential for one)
- While we could make it work, we really wanted a little more acreage for horses
- The biggest “con” for me is that it was so close to our inspo house (same neighborhood) and I was a little concerned that I would forever be longing for that home instead of this one as I passed by it daily…even though I loved this one so much.
